Litter at altitude is a waste-management failure, not an eyesore
There is no collection at altitude, no sorting, and no route out except on someone’s back. Removing rubbish from a trail and dumping it at the nearest roadhead is not a solution. It is relocation.
We organise volunteer clean-ups in Nepal’s outdoor destinations, and we deal with what we collect. Waste is sorted, recyclables are routed to processors, and the rest goes into a real disposal chain.
